Junior Male Uniform

The junior male students at Macintyre wear grey shorts no higher than the middle of the thigh, and no lower than the middle of the calf, accompanied with either a short or long-sleeved green shirt, depending on the season. In winter, a bottle green jumper is worn over the long sleeved shirt, and grey trousers replace the shorts. The Macintyre jacket and woollen jumper can also be worn as a substitute. Black shoes are to be covering the feet with plain grey socks.

On sports days however, they are to wear either shorts or tracksuit pants, black in colour, with the white school polo shirt. In winter, either the green Macintyre jacket or the green jumper maybe worn over the white polo, and black shoes are to be replaced with joggers.

Items not permitted

Massuers, thongs etc. are not allowed - it is expected that students wear socks or stockings with shoes. Shirts with printing, logos or pictures other than the Macintyre emblem are not permitted, and fancy earings other than 'studs' or 'sleepers' should not be worn either.
